Helane Morrison’s Efforts of Transforming the Financial Sector

The rules explicitly state what should be done and what to avoid. Most people understand the benefits associated with following the rules to the later. However, few of them manage to achieve this course as required. Discipline and strong character are essential aspects when dealing with business and handling finance.

Financial workplace transformation

Morrison has held various supervisory and managerial roles in established firms. Her duties have been to ensure the finances are running smoothly. She has managed to put in place strategies to curb corruption throughout her years as a journalist and a civil servant. Morrison has used the experience she has gained for more than thirty years of working with influential and reputable firms to revolutionize the financial industry.

Escalation of corruption rates

The global economic crisis that occurred in 2007 led to the increased unemployment rates. Financial institutions were forced to seek help from the government. The crisis caught most individuals by surprise. The effects of the 2007-2008 financial crash were more severe compared to those of Great Depression that occurred in 1930.

Declining trust

Nine years down the line, Americans have little faith in the financial institution. Some Americans believe the financial sector plays little to no role in the growth of the economy.

Expectations after presidential election

Investor and economists share the same view of the feeling of uneasiness not likely to improve even as the 2016 presidential election closes in. Most of them are expecting the uneasiness to become worse. However, political analyst strongly claims that there is little link between the performance of the stock market and the presidential race.

  1. The financial crisis exposed institutions in the financial sector that were using falsified documents, underhand dealing, fraud, and other unethical behaviors. It coould have been a nice way for superior custom papers to get these wounded up as soon as possible.
