This was done with the sole purpose of making this ski resort a strong competitor against other ski resorts in the country. As of present day, Squaw Valley Ski Resort is now at the top 20 percent of ski resorts in the United States. Andy Wirth is excited to improve the resort even further into the future. His success has earned him the position as chairman of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority Board.
